James Beard semifinalist and founder of the multi-concept Jason Dady Restaurant Group—reopens the doors to his revived Spanish tapas bar, The Bin, which marks the seventh dining concept for the emphatically San Antonian chef to launch since 2001.
Located in a quaint, historical home along Grayson Street—adjacent to The Pearl (the city’s brewery-turned-lifestyle center) and Chef Jason’s own Shuck Shack—The Bin brings the fiery spirit of old town Barcelona to the heart of San Antonio. To capture the communal feel of a Spanish tavern at The Bin, Chef Jason sets his tables with mismatched, antique serve-ware and porron wine pitchers, while lining the back wall with family-style plates of pintxos, such as pan con tomate and serrano-wrapped dates.
Chef Jason’s new menu also features large-format feasts directly inspired by his penchant for Texas barbeque, including whole pig roasts and live fire paellas.
Over the last 15 years, Chef Jason has revitalized his beloved Alamo City by transforming Grayson Street into a varied and unparalleled culinary destination.
